Domaine de la Navicelle is a 20 ha estate located in the heart of Provence on the north side of a massif called La Colle Noire, on the edge of the Conservatoire du littoral. The vines are in terraces on heavy clay soils and a rocky subsoil of limestone, sandstone and shale. The north orientation and the proximity of the Colle Noire protects us from the heat and allows us to obtain rich, complex wines with a nice freshness and a "terroir” identity while still dry farming. To make the most of this exceptional terroir, Jannick Utard, the winemaker, has been working in organic and biodynamic farming for many years (Organic certification in 2014 and Demeter in 2017). Everything is picked by hand and plowed by horse.
